My Trip To Calgary

First of all, things with Mexico are going quite well again. I've started fundraising and as of right now am doing better than I thought I would be, but still have quite a ways to go. Also, I am being tutored in Spanish now by a man in my church who grew up in Bolvia. God is showing me that I will be fine, and that I will actually enjoy myself in Mexico City... even if I miss people back here a whole lot.

So back to my trip to Calgary. My friend Andrew was going down anyways so I decided to catch a ride with him and go stay with Jessy my old room mate and great friend. Its her birthday on Tuesday so we kind of got to celebrate together for the first time since I've known her. Her room mate Carolyn won this thing for a girls night out on Saturday night. We got a limo ride to a bar downtown, one free drink each and then Carolyn got a bunch of stuff too. That was pretty sweet... mainly the limo ride though I've got to say. It was fun to hang out with so many girls again and relax and have a fun time away from everyday life. Before going out Jessy was working so I got to spend some quality time alone and with God. It was nice. Andrew and I drove up again this morning. I have to say though that being in downtown Calgary again, right in the area I've lived for the past two years really made me miss it. It was sad to think I won't be living there again next year. Oh well, I know I'll return again someday... after all I do have a degree to complete!

I have many things to look forward to coming up. This week is busy with programing having to be completed for the summer at work, seeing as how we start getting the kids full time starting this Friday. Then on Friday night Owen is coming to visit. We get to see each other for TWO whole days are very excited. So yes, right now I am content, happy and moving forward with all of this. Thanks for your concern everyone... and your prayers!
