An Update
Well I have now officially met every member of Owen's family. That may be just a very slight exaggeration. I met a lot of people and heard a lot of family history. It was good. I feel like I got to know Owen more in the process. Meeting his parents and little brother was good too as it'll now be a year until I see them again. I cried while leaving after saying good bye. It was kind of an overwhelming weekend.
I took my camera in an attempt to liven up this blog with pictures, but then did not end up taking any photos. Sorry.
We visited Joshua too. That was good. Apparently we made his day.
It was easier to leave because Owen is coming up this Saturday. Sunday we plan on visiting Nakamun which will be an adventure of its own.
Candace and I made plans for a sleepover Friday night. That is exciting. I haven't had a girly night in quite a while and I am realizing just how much I need it.
Mexico is frustrating me again. Having to tell all of Owen's family about it this weekend really hit it home that I am going soon and its for quite a while. So I'm going to go pray now. I need some Jesus time.

Amanda,
When you can, give me some ways to pray for you as you prepare for Mexico. The obvious is being covered already I think in how I pray. Prep of heart and mind. Money. Prep of the people you are going to minister to. Political and bureaucratic logistics. Is there anything more?
Oh, by the way, you did meet all of the one side of my family, so that's like, 90% of them.:) Just like, 2 more families from my mom's side. But that will wait for a while!

Yup, that's what I was going to say, Amanda, there are 4 more cousins (and spouses), two more aunts, and two more uncles to go. Oh, I think you missed some cousins on Ken's side, too. And when you get that all figured out, we'll start on Owen's second cousins. Don't worry, we'll wait until after you come back from Mexico for the final exam! You are in our prayers, as well. All is good, and so will Mexico, be good, too.
When are coming here???? I miss you!!!
By the way, we are sharing the little room. Kara will be here too....bit of a miscommunication. I hope you have an airmattress!
Also, pack light, since all we'll have room for is you and about 3 articles of clothing.
